PPSC Guidelines on Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Director Architecture Post

The Punjab Public Service Commission has announced a single vacancy for the Assistant Director Architecture post. It includes a seat available for the Open Merit or General quota only. This post is available at the Rawalpindi Development Authority, Rawalpindi (Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department).

Required Qualification: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized institute registered with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners. 

Note: Valid Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Council of Architect and Town Planners (issued before the closing date).

Age Limit: 

  • 21 to 25 + 7 = 32 years for Male candidates 
  • 21 to 25 + 10 = 35 years for Female candidates

Required Documents for Assistant Director Architecture Jobs 2022

The applicants for the Assistant Director Architecture post have to submit the following original documents:

  • Valid CNIC (Not expired before applying date for the subject post). 
  • Authentic Certificate of Matriculation / O-level showing date of birth, obtained/total marks. 
  • Authentic Certificate of Intermediate / A-level showing obtained/total marks 
  • Authentic Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture issued by the Controller of Examinations from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs) of above degrees issued on or before the applying date showing obtained/total marks or Percentage Certificate from the Controller of Examinations is mandatory. A degree with only a CGPA is not acceptable for PPSC.
  • In case of equivalent qualifications, the candidates will be responsible for obtaining the equivalence of their degrees to the required post well before conducting a Written Test / Interview from the HEC or QEDC of the concerned Administrative Department.
  • Authentic Domicile Certificate of any district of the province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date. 
  • Valid permanent Registration Certificate from Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) issued on or before the closing date for submission of online application. 
  • Departmental Permission Certificate on prescribed proforma of PPSC-5 duly signed & stamped by the Appointing / Competent Authority in case of Government Employees / Semi or Autonomous bodies. 
  • Equivalence Certificate of qualification from HEC / QEDC of the concerned Administrative Department as the case may be. 
  • Disability Certificate (in case of Special Person) from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Special Persons of Social Welfare Department issued on or before the applying date of submission of applications for the subject post.
