The Federal Public Service Commission FPSC has announced CSS Competitive exam 2019. Thus, the interested candidates can apply for the CSS exams 2019 till 12 December 2018. For the CSS exams, candidates males and females having 21-30 years of age can apply. However, through the CSS exams, FPSC will recruit the candidates for various occupational groups/services in BS-17. However, according to the announced notification, the commission will conduct the CSS exam on 14 February 2019. However, the federal public service commission will announce the number of vacancies later.
Occupational Groups/Services
Through the CSS Exam, the FPSC will recruit the candidates for the following occupational groups/services. However, these groups work under the federal government.

- Foreign Services of Pakistan
- Information group
- Inland revenue services
- Military land and cantonment group
- Office Management Group
- Pakistan Administrative Service
- Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service
- Pakistan Customs Service
- Police Service of Pakistan
- Postal group
- Railways (Commercial and Transportation) Group
Eligibility Criteria For CSS 2019 Exam
CSS is a competitive exam that the Federal Public Service Commission conducts every year to recruit candidates for different services. Thus, those candidates who want to appear in the CSS exams must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institute with at least a 2nd division for the CSS exam.
- Both genders, males and females, are eligible for the CSS exams.
- FPSC will provide two years of upper age relaxation according to the CSS-2019 rule # 06.
- The candidates’ age must be between 21 to 30 years old on 31 December 2018.
- However, the cut date for determining eligibility in terms of age, domicile, qualification etc., is 31 December 2018.

How to Apply for the CSS Exam
The interested candidates who want to apply for the CSS exams can follow the following procedure to apply. Thus, read the method carefully.
- For the CSS exams, candidates have to apply online through the FPSC website.
- However, you also have to download the challan form and deposit Rs 2200/- in the nearest Government Treasury/State Bank of Pakistan/National Bank of Pakistan. Candidates have to deposit the fees under the account head C02101-Organs of State Exam Fee (FPSC recipient)
- After submitting the form, send the online application’s hard copy with all attested documents and original treasury recipient to the FPSC headquarter, Islamabad.
Instructions for Candidates
- Enclose the two or more application forms in separate envelopes. Otherwise, FPSC will not accept any application.
- Fill the CSS application form carefully. Any wrong entry may lead to the rejection of the application.
- During filling the form, select the optional and compulsory subjects carefully. After applying, you will not be able to change the subjects. However, FPSC will also not accept the request to change the subjects.
